Margie Parker, 92, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in Hope. She was born September 28, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama to John B. and Ebba Parker Vail.

Mrs. Parker was a life-long Presbyterian and she served as an organist for 40 years. She received a BA from Columbia Bible College in SC. She later received her Master’s Degree from Drake University then retired as a Special Ed Teacher.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne F. Parker, two brothers, John and Andrew Vail.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Tim Parker, Ben Parker and Dan Parker; two daughters, Mardia Parker McClain and Rebecca Scott; two sisters, Mary Vail and Betty Hauwiller; and nine grandchildren.
