Martha Carol Taylor, lovingly known as "Nana" by her grandchildren and
countless others whose lives she touched, passed peacefully from this world
on July 22, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her beloved
husband, Billy Taylor; their daughter, Sharon Denise Taylor; and her
precious granddaughter, Abreahna Bryan.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Maggie Pierce.
Martha was a proud and deeply loving grandmother to Brandon (Ashley)
Taylor, Amber N. McKamie, and Danielle Wilson. She cherished her role as
great-grandmother to Colton, Braiden, Elliott, Rhealynn, Keller, Emrie,
Serenity, Warren, Waylon, and Cooper—each one the joy of her heart and
the light in her eyes.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will carry her
memory forward with warmth and laughter.
More than anything, Nana was the heart of her family and a steady hand in
the lives of many. Her kitchen was always open, her door never closed, and
no one ever left her home without a full belly and a feeling of love. She had
a remarkable ability to adopt people into her life—offering comfort,
guidance, and unconditional support to those in need.
The family would like to offer heartfelt thanks to all who helped care for
Nana over the past year. Special recognition goes to her dear "partner in
crime" Ruth; Shelby and Sam for their dedicated care and compassion; the
Gentiva Hospice Care team; and the many friends and family who stood
beside her and her loved ones during this time.
Martha’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering strength.
Though she is gone from our sight, she remains forever in our hearts.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on August 9, 2025 at
GraceLife Fellowship, 814 N Hervey St., Hope, AR 71801, where all who
knew and loved Nana will be welcome to share stories, memories, and the
comfort of family.
