Mary Ann Williams

Mary was born on June 28, 1956, in Hope, AR, to Scott Stuart and Alice Williams. She attended Hope High School, where she met and dated Larry Moore. After graduation, she and Larry began their life in sunny Los Angeles, CA, and Mary attended Santa Monica Community College. They wed in June of 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and shortly after, Larry was drafted into the U.S. Air Force.

In 1978, Larry returned from the Air Force, and Mary took on the role of being a mother and homemaker for the next six years until they both agreed to live life on their own terms. Although on their "own" terms, it was always rooted in love and family.

Mary loved her family, fashion, traveling, and dancing. She devoted most, if not all, of her time and energy as a caregiver to many friends, family, and others. Her spirit was kind, gentle, and genuine. She gave selflessly and loved endlessly.

Mary Ann Williams, aged 67, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, a native of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, in Los Angeles, California. May she rest in peace.

Mary is survived by her two daughters; Felecia Moore (Demetriell King), Tinesha Moore (Jonathan White); four sisters, Lillie Dewberry, Odessa Muldrew, Cora Pickens, and Betty Smith; three brothers, Scotty Williams, Richard Williams, and Michael Williams; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of more relatives and friends who love her dearly.
