Mary Jo Hendrix, age 76, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas.

Mary Jo dedicated her life to her family and her work.  She enjoyed cooking, which was always a guarantee to bring her family together.  She was a great cook, and it was always a treat for anyone who had the pleasure of sitting at her table. She was known for her hard work.  She had a work ethic like no other.  She was always loyal, dedicated and gave her all.

She is survived by her daughter Kelly (Jim) Honea, sons Larry Otwell (Laura Douglas) and Gary “Boo” (Angie) Hendrix. 

Brothers David McKinnon (Penny Oliver), Norman (Beverly) McKinnon, Neal (Chandra) McKinnon and sister Dorothy (David) Dougan.

Grandchildren Jessi (Andy) Thompson, Brandon (Abby) Honea, Kade Honea, Zack Otwell (Haili Whatley), Zayne Otwell, and Zoie Otwell, Kelsey (Chris) Dendy, Tyler (Rachel) Adkins, and Brooke (Josey) Moten.

Great-grandchildren Raiden Thompson, Aliza Thompson, Ian Honea, Bodhi Otwell, Cooper Dendy, Hudson Dendy, Hallie Adkins, Stella Adkins, Brayson Moten, Annison Moten, and Knox Moten along with numerous nieces, nephew, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Ruby McKinnon, sister Minnie Sue Hall, and brother Glenn McKinnon.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Prescott Church of Christ, 305 E. Main St., Prescott, AR.
