Melvin Dee Haneline

Melvin Dee Haneline, born in Marmaduke, Arkansas, passed away on December 7th. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patsy Glass Haneline, his daughter Kathy Haneline May of Russellville, Arkansas, his son David Haneline and wife Linda, Granddaughter Katharine Hardcastle, and two great-grandsons, Sebastian Gunner Lee May and Exzavior Keith, all from Russellville, Arkansas.

Melvin served his country honorably in both the Army and Air Force, demonstrating exceptional bravery during the Korean War, earning him the prestigious Purple Heart. Remembered fondly by his nieces, Linda, Barbara, Sandra, and Janice, and all who knew him, Melvin’s ingenuity and investment in his community leave a lasting impact.

Visitation is scheduled 1:00-2:00 pm Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Prescott, Arkansas. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Frank Henson officiating. Interment with military honors following at Caney Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Homes-Prescott. All are welcome to attend.
