Milton Huel Renfro Jr., age 79, of Gurdon, AR went into the arms of Jesus peacefully on March 10, 2020, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, March 13th at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Gurdon. A celebration of life service will be 11:00am Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Beech Street Baptist officiated by Bro. Danny Harmon. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Gurdon.
Jr., also affectionately known as “Budroe” was born to Milton Renfro Sr. and Christine (Andrews) Renfro on September 17, 1940. He leaves to cherish his memory, three children; Stacey Payne (Mike) of New Boston , TX, Kellie Clark (Brad) of Gurdon, AR and Marc Renfro (Joy) of Mobile, AL; one sister, Peggy Roberts of Gurdon, AR; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; numerous nephews/nieces and life-long friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Christine Renfro and brothers, J.D. Renfro and Jim Renfro.
He served four years with distinction as a mechanic in the United States Air Force. After serving his country, he embarked on a career traveling the U.S. in general construction making heaps of friends along the way. He retired as a Superintendent with Brown and Root after twenty-six years.
An avid outdoorsman, he had a passion for hunting and fishing.
He was a servant of the Lord, most recently as a member of Center Point Baptist Church. Jr. wanted his family and friends to know he had a personal relationship with Jesus which secured his eternity in Heaven.
Pallbearers are Michael Payne, Brad Payne, Wesley Payne, Brad Clark, Adam Clark, Greg Renfro, Brett Renfro and Ricky Green. Honorary pallbearers are A.B. Wood, Jimmy Garner and the Class of 1959.
