Mr. Ray McClure

On April 27, 1957, in Hope, Arkansas, Ray “Rual” McClure was born to the late Robert McClure Sr. and Florence Cooper-McClure. He became a member of St. John Baptist Church at an early age and attended Hope High School. Throughout his life, he worked at Hope Eggland and Harold Bobo, and also served at Monk’s Lawn Service.

At the age of 66, Ray departed this life on March 24, 2024. He will remain in our hearts forever.  Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Robert McClure Sr. and Florence Cooper-McClure, and his brothers, Bill McClure, J.T. McClure, Willie McClure, James McClure, Robert McClure Jr., and Stephen McClure Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sisters, Eva Brown, Eva Bostic, and Dalene McClure, all of Hope, AR, his brother, Donnie (Gloria) McClure of Desoto, TX, special nieces, Sha’Daveya McPherson, Ka’Meisha Conway, and a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends.
