Noble Pearl McGill-Ballance

Noble Pearl McGill-Ballance, born on Wednesday, May 6, 1931, in Blevins, Arkansas, to Adam & Parthenia McGill, was a beloved mother and a pillar of strength for her family. At the age of 92, in Hope, Arkansas, Noble peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Her memory will forever reside in our hearts.

She was a devoted member of Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church in Hope, AR, where her faith and love for her community shined brightly. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures - fishing, traveling to visit friends, and cherishing precious moments at family gatherings. Above all, Noble’s greatest source of happiness was the time spent with her grandchildren, whose laughter and presence brought joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard A. Ballance; parents, Adam and Parthenia McGill; sons, Milton D. Ballance, Richard McClellan, and Alexander Ballance; grandchildren, Charlie Ray Harris, Milvarrio Murphy, and Stafon Harris-Bishop; great-grandchildren, Cherae Jackson & Tyran Carter; great-great-grandchild, Mar’Cino Hall; sisters, Alice McGill, Katherine McGill, and Idell Wilson, and brothers, James & Matthew McGill.

Noble's legacy of love and devotion lives on through her surviving family, who will forever hold her in their hearts. She is survived by her three loving daughters: Hiawatha Covington, Shearetta Ballance, and Pearline Forbes; six devoted sons: Leonard Ballance, Victor Ballance, Michael Ballance, Curtis Ballance, Roylee McClellan, & Robert McClellan; 29 cherished grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
