Ola Mae Davis

Mrs. Ola Mae Davis, age 89 of Washington, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at St. Michaels in Texarkana, Texas. She was born July 13, 1930 in Center Ridge, Arkansas to John William and Lela Frazier Cole. Ola was a custodian for Hope Public Schools for many years, of Baptist faith, and loved to sew and work in her flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Robert Davis, three sons, Raymond Robert Davis, Ronald Allen “Tad Pole” Davis, Jerry Alden Mitchell, five brothers, Jam up Cole, Robert Cole, Johnny Cole, Bud Cole, Eldon Cole, and two sisters, Minnie Daniels, and Martha Askew. 

Survivors include three sons, Wayne Mitchell of Sherman, TX, John Davis of Prescott, AR, James Davis of Malvern, AR, three daughters, Geanette Stroud of Pittsburgh, KS, Brenda Ivey of New Port, AR, Myrtle Nichols (Billy) of Washington, AR, a brother, Weldon Cole of Hope, AR, four grandchildren, Justin Bobo, Brent Bobo, Dusty Pennington, Jessie Hardy, numerous great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. 

No family visitation is planned.

Graveside service will be 10:00am, Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas with Rev. Jessie Henry officiating. Arrangements are with BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director. Online condolences: www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com
