Polly Jane Lingo, age 66, was born in Hope, Arkansas, on September 9, 1953 and went to her heavenly home on June 12, 2020. She was a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope where she served as Sunday School Clerk.
After graduating from Hope High School in 1971, she attended Red River Vocational School. Poly was employed by Hope Brick Works for many years and retired in December, 2019 as Hempstead County Deputy Clerk.
Polly Jane was predeceased by her parents Lloyd William Lingo and Jessie Rebecca Cole Lingo, as well as a nephew, Mathew Lingo.
Surviving are brothers Johnny Paul Lingo (Gerolyn) of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Davey Joe Lingo (Linda) of Malvern, Arkansas. Nieces and nephews are Rebecca Hingtgen (Nicholas), Jennifer Gonzales, Angela Lingo, and David Lingo. Great-nephews are Christopher Servidio, Nicholas Servidio, and Dax Aaron Gonzales.
Left to cherish Polly’s memory are special friend Antonio Hernandez, numerous life-long friends, and her little dog Buddy.
Due to COVID guidelines, a private graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 16, 2020 Rose Hill Cemetery, Hope, Arkansas, with Dr. Clif Johnson officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
