June 10, 1996 - June 28, 2023

Preston Klein Leonard departed this life on June 28, 2023.  He was born on June 10, 1996, to Gustave Pitre and Heather Leonard.  He loved life and his family, especially his son, mother, and little sister. He also loved fishing, baseball, and dogs of all kinds, especially strays. He knew his battles. His battles were real, and he fought them until the end. He never wanted anyone else to fight the battles he fought and saved several people from taking the same road that he had taken. Remember Preston for the love he had in his heart for others. His charisma, his positive attitude, his big smile, his forgiving kind heart, and positive outlook on life. He never gave up on anyone and never looked down upon anyone. Preston packed a lot of love and life in his short but beautiful 27 years on this earth. He was loved and will be truly missed by all. May he rest in love and peace.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gustave Joseph Pitre, His Ninny, Bonnie Leonard, Grandfather Richard Leonard, Great Grandmother Opal Kidd, and Cousin Camron Paul Wilson.

He is survived by one son, Ashton Klein Leonard, Mother Heather Leonard (Danny), sister Sophee Monroe Leonard, Aunts, Kim “Auntie” Gatlin (Gat), Brittney “Britt” Leonard (Tip), Tisha “ Freck” Chism (Rut), cousins Danielle, Laney, Maci, Derby Blue, Bryce, Raylan, Kase, Jaxon, Emmie Lou, and many other special family members, friends and loved one that loved him deeply.

The family will receive friends at 1 pm on Friday July 7th with a funeral to follow at 2pm in the chapel. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery. Services are under the care of Brazzel Funeral, Hope, AR.
