Ray Powell, 61, of Guernsey, Arkansas passed away Tuesday November 5, 2024.

Ray was born August 27, 1963, to Dillard and Joyce Anderson Powell in Hempstead County. He was an owner/manager for over 20 years at the local favorite formerly Dairy Queen now known as Dairy Freeze.  He was an avid deer hunter who enjoyed playing and watching softball with his daughter and spending time with his family and grandkids. 

Mr. Powell is preceded by his father and brother, Ronnie Powell.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dana Smith Powell; son, Daniel Powell (Heather) of Guernsey; daughter, Nicole Powell of Guernsey; mother, Joyce Powell; brother, Richard Powell (Heather); 5 grandchildren, Skyler Powell, Marlie Rader, Annabelle Rader, Emma Norman, and Jayden Vazquez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and too many cousins to count.

Visitation is scheduled 1:00pm Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope.

Graveside Service will follow at 2:00pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Curtis Bobo officiating, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Homes-Hope.
