Raymond Lee Pine

Mr. Raymond Lee Pine, age 80, of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Mr. Pine was born March 6, 1940 in Texarkana, AR to Walter and Evelyn Pine. He served in the United States Air Force, as a mechanic, from age 17-20. Later, he became a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, from which he retired after 32+ years of service. Afterwards, he went back to work, as an electrician with Temple Inland, from where he also retired. Mr. Pine was a beloved member of Unity Baptist Church, as well as a Leader in Boy Scouts of America. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Phillip Ray Pine; and brother, Arthur M. Pine.

Survivors include: wife, Linda Parks Pine; Sons: John David Pine, Jimmy Ivers, wife Karen, Scottie Ivers, all of Hope, AR; Daughters: Penny Glass, husband Bud of Lewisville, AR, Kathleen Pine of Farmersville, TX, Helen White of Hope, AR; Brothers: Fred Pine of Sherman, TX, Jimmy Green and Betty of Omaha, NE, W.T. Pine, wife Nancy of Sherman, TX; Sisters: Mary Ann Russell and James of Luella, TX, Sharon Farr of Inglewood, CA; Grandchildren: Timothy Webb, wife Sarah, Zachary Ivers, Melanie West, Christin Dubose, James Ivers, Shawn Grigson, Jennifer Joy; Great-grandchildren: Briley Webb, Christopher Ivers, Tristan Ivers, Michael Grigson, Jade Joy, David Joy, Arwen Dubose, Silas Dubose, Gabriel Dubose, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Unity Baptist Church with Bro. Jay Pollan officiating. Burial to follow at Patmos Cemetery.
