Raymond M. Hessling, 83, of Bismarck, AR went home to be with his Savior and Lord Sunday, July 5th, 2020 as he was surrounded by family and loved ones.

Raymond was born May 27, 1937 in Starkweather, North Dakota. He graduated from Mayville State University and was a Business Education Teacher at National Park Community College in Hot Springs, AR and Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in Baton Rouge, LA. After retiring from teaching, he was the most friendly door greeter at Walmart for four years. Raymond also served four years in the United States Air Force.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dorothy Hessling, of Bismarck; daughters, Diane Helm of Bismarck, Judy (Darrell) Rogers of Bismarck, Patsy (Johnny) Kinder of Malvern; Pawpaw Ray had 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Mildred Hessling.

Visitation is 1:00pm-2:00pm Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Gurdon. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Rosehedge Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Kinder officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Gurdon.
