On Wednesday, August 5, 2020, God saw fit to call one of His children, Robert Lee Nunally, Sr., home at the age of 65.
Robert Lee Nunally was the third of nine children born to the late Ivory Nunally, Sr. and Janie Nunally on March 5, 1955.
He attended school at Howard County School in Tollette, AR until they segregated and he later graduated from Mineral Springs High School.
Robert joined the U.S. Army on August 11, 1978 and served until February 12, 1981, when he was injured. He received the Army Service Award and Good Conduct Award.
Robert had a special love for his family and friends. He always managed to stand out in the crowd because of his awesome taste in clothes.
He was a member of Dodson Street Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivory Nunally, Sr. and Janie Nunally. Also, six uncles, two aunts, one nephew and one niece.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Denita Nunally of Texarkana, Texas; five sons, Quentin (Sandra) Witherspoon of Nashville, Timothy (Demetrius) Ross of Texarkana, AR, Robert Nunally, Jr. of Tollette, AR, Robert Micheal Lee Nunally, John ‘Jon Jon’ Nunally of Phoenix, Arizona; six daughters, Chandra Williams of Jonesboro, AR, Jatovia Mitchel, Karen Nunally, Joshlin Nunally, Carletta Nunally and Janice Nunally all of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, Ivory Nunally, Jr., Thomas (Belinda) Green of Nashville, AR, Terry Green of Texarkana, TX; five sisters, Mary Witherspoon, Irene White, Marjorie (Robert) Witherspoon, Ellen Johnson and Melissa (Steve) Moore all of Nashville, AR; 29 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and good friends, Kenneth Robertson, Chris Hopkins and Billy Dale Jordan.
Visitation will be 12-5pm Friday at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 11am Saturday, August 15 at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Nashville. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
