Rose Watson

Rose Carolyn Watson of Hope, Arkansas passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 87. She was born in Hope, Arkansas, to Claiborne J and Maxine Rowe on April 17, 1935.

Rose was a kind, caring, and nurturing woman with a generous heart who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a wonderful wife and mother, full of love for her family. She married the love of her life, Talmage.

She spent the last eighteen years of her working days at Myers Bakery of Hope before retiring. Rose’s warm, gentle heart touched the hearts of many during her lifetime, and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. Rose enjoyed working outside in the yard as well as her flower beds and the garden during the summertime.

She was proceeded in death by both of her parents, her younger sister Lynda Rowe Hurtgen, oldest sister Martha Barham, and her beloved husband Talmage Lee Watson.

Rose is survived by her brother Jimmie Rowe and his wife JoAnne and sister Danita Berry, and her three children, Rodney Watson, Carol Watson and Dennis Watson, and Two granddaughters; Kimberly Watson and Nika Hoehn. And 4 great grandsons; Bryce Roberts, Ricky Luna, Shane Hoehn, Jason Keen; in addition to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Rose attended the First Assembly of God church of Hope before entering the nursing home.

Visitation is scheduled 5:30-8:00pm Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope.

Graveside service will be 2:00pm Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Sweet Home Cemetery in Prescott, AR with Pastor Kenny Martin officiating.
