Rosemary Clark Brown, 95, born November 28, 1928, in Prescott, AR, passed to heaven on April 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. She graduated from Springhill High School in 1946 and soon after married Jessie Brown on Feb 15, 1947. Rosemary dedicated most of her life to the honorable roles of daughter, wife, mother, and friend in the Springhill community she valued and cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Tom Clark, brothers Thomas and Raymond Clark, husband Jessie Brown, son-in-law Gerald Sisson, nephew Stephen Clark, and great granddaughter Emma Bittle.
Rosemary is survived by her children Sarah Sisson, Sharon Lea (Raymond), Julia Butler (Richard), and Wayne Brown (Mindy), sisters-in-law Betty and Linda Clark, nephews Ken and Shannon Clark and niece Shelly Byrne. Her grandchildren: Eddie Sisson (Kay), Beth Davis, Andria Bittle (Todd), Regina Sanders (Greg), Melanie Treat, Ramsey Brown, Garrison Brown, and a host of great grandchildren.
Rosemary was a lifelong member of Springhill Christian Church where she enjoyed the beauty of playing piano and singing hymns alongside those she treasured. She was known and loved by many for her gentle, quiet spirit and her wonderful gift of homemade cookies.
All are invited to celebrate her life at Brazzel Chapel, located in Hope, AR, Sunday, May 5, 2024. The visitation will be at 1:00 with the service following at 2:00.
