Sandra Kay Franklin, 71, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023.
Mrs. Franklin was born March 5, 1952, to Henry H. Elledge and Lola
Rinehart Elledge in Hope, Arkansas. She worked for many years as a clerk
at the Expressway. She was a member at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and
loved her church family. She especially loved spending time with her
children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Franklin was preceded by her parents; husband of 36 years, Jesse
Franklin; brother, Larry Elledge; and sister, Judy Cowart.
Mrs. Franklin is survived by son, Nick (Tina) Franklin; daughter, Aletha
(Nason) Putman; two brothers, Richard and Wendell Elledge both of Hope;
two sisters, Lillian Anderson and Donna Rosenbaum both of Hope; ten
grandchildren, Justin Smith, Jessica Putman, Kyler Putman, Emma Putman,
Shawn Morrow, Nickalos Franklin, Jacob Franklin, Lauren Raborn, Erin
Raborn, and Gabby Zuniga; best friend, Karen Joy; and many other friends
and family.
Graveside Service is scheduled 11:00am Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at
Betts Cemetery with Bro. Revel Kidd officiating, under the direction of
Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Homes-Hope.
