Scott W. Bittle was born June 13, 1962. He gained his angel wings on June 9, 2024. 

Scott served 8 years in the United States Navy with an honorable discharge. He served the Hempstead County Sheriff's department for 14 years. During this time, he was called back to active duty to serve in Desert Storm Desert Shield. He served the City of Hope as a code enforcement officer for 12 years. He then went to work for UAHT as an instructor till he retired in 2019. He loved his community and serving others. He served his country, his county and city. He especially loved serving his future students as a facility member at UAHT.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil & Grace Bittle, George Bright, his parents Cecil (Dick) & Sue Bittle, 

He leaves behind his wife of 41 years whom he cherished very much, Michelle Bittle (Hope), three children, Cory Bittle and wife Shawna of Hope, Sean Bittle & his wife Jennifer of Hope, and Sarah Renee Bittle of Texarkana. He leaves behind one brother, Brett Bittle of Moore, OK, five great grandchildren, Matthew, Conner, Chloe, Kylen Bittle and Bonus Grandson, Dalton West, all from Hope, Ethan Erwin from Texarkana, TX. He has several nieces and nephews, brothers & sister in laws, two very special friends, Danny Ledbetter of Hope, and Teresa White (AKA “My Bunkin Buddy”)

He was loved by many and will be missed. 

Visitation will be Thursday, June 13 from 5pm-7pm at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel.

The Funeral will be Friday, June 14 at 2pm at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel.
