Shuntal Miller Brown was born in Nashville, Arkansas July 7, 1970 to the tutelage of the late Rev. Dr. Reynold L. Miller, Sr. and the late Earnestine Newton Miller. She was the eleventh child born to this union. One brother, Kempton D. Miller and a stepbrother, Donald Wiley preceded her in death. She departed her earthly vessel on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Shuntal was a 1988 graduate of Saratoga High School in Saratoga, Arkansas.
She was a faithful member of the First Church of God Tollette, Arkansas and a loyal member of the church’s senior choir.
Shuntal was formerly employed at Tyson, Missions Plastics, Wal Mart and SMI Joist. Upon her passing, she was employed at Cooper Tire and the Mineral Springs, Arkansas School District.
Shuntal married Charles Brown and to this union a son, Earnest Raheem Brown was born. Raheem was the pride and joy of his mom’s life!! On November 2, 2019, she welcomed an even bigger little bundle of pride and joy into her life when her granddaughter, Averlyn was born and made her a “Woo Woo”.
She leaves to cherish her memories son: Earnest Raheem Brown; granddaughter, Averlyn Paiz Brown; stepmother, Elizabeth Wiley Miller; five sisters, Helen Louise Porter of Tollette, Arkansas, Minister Sandra Kay McGee of Parkin, Arkansas, Dorothy Biddle of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Renetta Dianne (Alonzo Eugene) Williamson of Ashdown, Arkansas, Valerie Evette Miller of Tollette, Arkansas; six brothers, Donnie Ray (Charlean) Stevenson of Hope, Arkansas, Reynold Elton Miller, Jr. of Saratoga, Arkansas, Aron Caprice Miller, Sr. of Hope, Arkansas, The Rev. Byron BeKeith (Wendy) Miller of Little Rock, Arkansas, Vincent Percell Miller of Little Rock, Arkansas, Walves Vadol (Tamara) Miller of Texarkana, Arkansas; stepbrother, Corey Moore of Nashville, Arkansas; special aunts, Rosie Gamble, Bessie Trimble and Addie Ramsey; special uncles, Marchell (Barbara) Newton and Rufus (Zemeria) Newton; special cousins, Leroy Johnson; and a host of special nieces, special nephews, special cousins and special friends.
Visitation will be 11am-5pm Friday at the funeral home. A service of celebration and love will be 11am Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Saratoga High School Gymnasium in Saratoga. Burial will be at Crofton Cemetery in Tollette. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
