REFLECTIONS OF HIS LIFE
Mr. Stanley Phillips Sr.
Mr. Stanley "Dirty Redd" Phillips Sr. transitioned to his eternal home on October 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 23, 1957, to Leroy and Eliza Phillips, he graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in 1975. In 1978, he met the love of his life, Loretta Wingfield, in Hope, Arkansas. They married and welcomed two beautiful daughters and two handsome sons into their lives.
Stanley had a remarkable presence, often letting his demeanor speak for him. He loved jazz and music with a soft, powerful sound, reflecting his cool and grounded nature. Known for his jokes and warm smile, he dedicated his career to SMI and later to Tyson Foods, in Nashville, AR, where he worked diligently until retirement, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pastor Jimmy Moore and Saphronia Moore; his parents, Eliza and Leroy Phillips; his in-laws, James and Cora Lee Wingfield; and his brother, Darryl Phillips.
His memory lives on through his loving wife, Loretta Phillips; daughters, Angela and Zandria Phillips; sons, Danny and Stanley Phillips Jr.; grandchildren, Destiny Thomas, SaMauri Wingfield, JaMauree Wingfield, Lebron Thomas, Karson Phillips, and Brooklyn Phillips; brother, Greg Williams; sister, Felicia Phillips; sisters-in-law, Lolethia Wingfield, Martha Wingfield, and Margaret (Tracy) Spearman; brothers-in-law, Leroy (Bernistine) Wingfield, James "Bubba" Wingfield, and David (Jacqueline) Wingfield; special cousins, Phyllis Lott, Lonnie Ray Sharp, Wilbert Cox Sr., and Kathy Ragland; special brothers-in-law, Leroy Wingfield and Tracy Spearman; longtime friend, Chauncy Cannon; along with many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will cherish his memory.
Stanley's passing leaves a void, but his legacy of love, music, and unwavering commitment to his family and career will continue to inspire all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will live on forever.
