Steven “Stevie” Douglas Spell
Stevie Spell, 56, of Laneburg, Arkansas, passed away on July 26, 2023. He was born on May 12, 1967, to Carolyn Steele Spell and Paul Douglas Spell. Nevada County Road 34 was always his home.
Stevie always had a smile and a helping hand for everyone. He never met a stranger and was a friend to so many. He possessed many talents and abilities, truly a jack of all trades. Stevie was a sheetrock finisher, a mechanic, and he had a tire shop in Prescott, AR.
He is preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Steele Westfall, grandmother Gertie Spell, grandfather Herman William Spell, aunt Virginia Spell, nephew Jesse Spell, cousin Heath Spell, and sister-in-law Penny Spell.
He is survived by his daughter, Savannah Spell; two sons, Grayson Spell (Cassidey Morrison), and Britt Spell; six grandchildren, Olivia and Audrey Elmer, Haisley Spell, Hadlee Brown, Layla Adams, and Waylon Spell; his father, Paul Douglas Spell; two brothers, Joseph and Terry Spell; uncles, Teddy Spell and Lee Spell; cousins, Dinah Spell Hankins, Melinda Spell Routh, T.J. Spell, Chad and Bruce Allen; aunt, Sharon Batchlor; cousins, Shane Pipkin, Shanna and Cole Glass; and a host of close relatives and friends. He also leaves behind his loving companion of 13 years, Kim McClure Collins, her three sons Tyler, Trent, and Tanner Collins, along with 5 grandchildren: Jayce, Riley, Ava, Kylie, and Jaycee Collins.
