Tommy Jay Solomon, born on August 23, 1958, in Borger, Texas, passed away on November 1, 2025, in Texarkana, TX. He was the only child of TL and Ollie Darlene Solomon.

Jay graduated from West Columbia High School in 1976 and dedicated 30 years of his career to Phillips, which took him to assignments all over the world. After retiring, he settled in Emmet, Arkansas, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Melanie, and their children: Joel Bender (Jessica), Jason Solomon (Sara), and Katherine Montes-Garcia (Marvin). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Gabriel Montes-Garcia, Claudia Montes-Garcia, and William Bender, as well as numerous family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you honor Jay's memory by donating your time or money to your local food bank.

Family services will be held at a later date.
