Vicente Leon Santamaria, 50, of Hope, passed away, Monday, September 15, 2025, in Texarkana, TX.

Vicente era un hombre muy trabajador que siempre priorizaba a su familia. No solo era ese amigo con el que siempre se puede contar, sino un gran hijo, esposo, hermano y, sobre todo, un padre increíble para tres hermosos hijos. Siempre se esforzaba por ayudar a quien lo necesitara y era un alma generosa para quienes tenían la oportunidad de conocerlo.

Vicente was a hard-working man, always putting his family first before anything. He was not only that friend you can always count on, but a great son, husband, and brother, but most importantly an amazing father to 3 beautiful children. Always making sure to go out of his way to help anyone in need and a great soul to those that got the chance to meet him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolina Leon; his children, Brandon Leon (25), Esmeralda Leon (19), and Sophia Leon (7); his parents, Antonio Leon (77) and Ignacia Santamaria (75); his siblings, Juan Carlos Leon (48) and Ana Laura Leon (46); and his half-siblings, Monserrat Contreras, Brenda Contreras, Tania Contreras, and Jose Luis Contreras, along with many other loving family and friends.

Vicente’s life was a true reflection of dedication to family, selflessness, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rosary will be Friday, September 19, 6pm, with visitation following at 6:30, at the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel.

Mass will be Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 10am at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brazzel Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
