Vivian was born December 24, 1952 to Ms. Violet Latin and the late William Hickman. She was raised in her grandparents home, Stanley and Caldonia Latin, along with her mother.
She attended Emmet Key grade school and later attended Emmet High School. In her senior year, she married Willie Haynes. To this union two children were born, Corey and Laquan Haynes. She was employed at Meyers Bakery for over 30 years and was a faithful employee. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age at St. Paul Baptist Church in Emmet. Later in life she joined U. C. C. Church of Emmet.
Vivian was known for her beauty and outspoken personality. Vivian always stood out in a crowd. She loved to dress up and walk in her high heels. She loved music and dancing and playing bingo. Vivian enjoyed gospel shows on TV and “In the Heat of the Night.”
She re-married in 1994 to Charles Glover. To this union she gained step-children, Matthew Glover, Faith Glover, Isaiah Glover and Nia Glover, Quashana Glover, Lashonda Glover, Lashawn Glover.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 26 years, Charles Glover of Hope; her mother, Violet Welch of Emmet, Arkansas; two boys, Corey (Tonya) Haynes of Hope, Arkansas, Laquan (Sharitta) Haynes of Hope, Arkansas four step-children, Faith Glover, Matthew Glover, Isaiah Glover and Nia Glover, all of Hope, Arkansas; one sister, Pasha Welch of Emmet, Arkansas; six brothers, James Welch of South Carolina, Harold Latin of Emmet, Arkansas, Phillip Welch of Little Rock, Arkansas, Kelvin (Tonia) Welch of Little Rock, Arkansas, Terry (Yolanda) Welch of Emmet, Arkansas, Anton Welch of Emmet, Arkansas; Cynthia Smith, sister/cuz; grandchildren (Corey’s children), Kameisha Conway, Tatanna Haynes, Toy Haynes, Corey Haynes, Jr., Treasure Bishop, A’Layisha Conway, Damontre’ Woods; great-grandchildren (Corey’s grandkids), T’Keshon Trotter, TyCoreyon Trotter, Ah’zaeyah Jones, Jonathan Trotter, Jr., Jontavis Trotter, Javonte’ Barker, Autumn Doyles, Brayden Haynes, Stephen Hendrix, Jr., Kenaria Parker, Keishon Parker, Jr., Ni’Layisha Woods, A’zyrian Woods, Major Woods; grandchildren (Laquan’s children), Shakeria Haynes, Ammarion Haynes, Laquan Haynes, Jr.; great-granddaughter (Laquan’s granddaughter), Z’moni; her very special aunts, Annie Pearl Jagers and Helen Andrata.
Vivian was preceded in death by her father, William Hickman; and her grandparents, Stanley and Caldonia Latin, Lillie Hickman. She will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
