Wanda Lucille Horne, 69 of North Little Rock, AR passed away January 12, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Wanda was born on July 14, 1951 in Hope, AR to Buck Williams and Valdeen Lafferty Williams. To her, family was everything in life. She loved spending time with them. Her happy place was with her family around any beach, pool, or lake. In her spare time, Wanda loved to work in the garden with all her plants and herbs. There wasn’t much she couldn’t grow. Wanda loved to sew and quilt in her spare time with her daughter in law, Becca.

Wanda was a Special Education teacher in Arkansas for over 20 years. She retired from Sylvan Hills Elementary in Sherwood, AR.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father and mother, Buck and Valdeen Williams, and two brothers, Ron Williams and Jerry Williams.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 44 years, David Horne; Son, Tanner Horne and Becca; Son, Matt Horne and Amanda Dollar; Son, Jeremy Horne Kokinos and Jamie; Brother, Troy Williams and Katrina; Special Niece, Amanda Neal and Michael.  Wanda had three grandchildren that she adored, Lily, Eva, Carter and one Fur baby, Jake. Wanda leaves behind many friends, co-workers, and family that she loved dearly.

There will be a private family service with a celebration of life a later time with all her friends and family. Donations are being accepted in her honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at http://support.pancan.org/goto/wandahorne in lieu of flowers.
