William “Billy” Edward Dulin, age 86, of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away on September 29, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. 

Mr. Dulin was born on June 28, 1937 in Gurdon, Arkansas to his parents Charles Freeman and Florance Ricketts Dulin. He retired as a Locomotive Engineer with the railroad after 42 years and retired as Water Commissioner for Gurdon after 22 years. He was known for his many talents including carpentry and gardening. Billy was also a faithful, active member of Gurdon Church of Christ. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 63 years, Bonnie Sue Dulin; and one brother, Charles “Charlie” Freeman Dulin Jr. 

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Chris Dulin and wife Kristi of Gurdon and Dr. William Alan Dulin of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren, Bralen Dulin, Brynlee Dulin, Bryson Dulin, Grayson Dulin, Gage Scott, and Lane Scott and wife Destinee; and a very special caregiver that became family, Juliana Romanelli. 

The family would like to thank Cassandra VanHorn for her care and kindness to Daddy as well as Elite Home Hospice. 

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 6, 2023, 6:00pm-8:00pm at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Gurdon.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 2:00pm in the Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Gary Kirkpatrick officiating.  Interment will follow at Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
