William L. "Bill" Davis

William L. “Bill” Davis of Hope, Arkansas passed from this earth on January 9, 2020. A native of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Bill was born on February 27, 1950 to Thelma and W.C. Davis, Jr.

In 1985, Bill and his wife, Sarah, moved their family to Hope where they raised their two sons, Matthew and Aaron. In the 1970’s, after serving a brief time in the Navy, Bill became a believer. Since that time, he has been a faithful follower, servant, and ambassador of Jesus. He actively served in numerous ministries throughout his life. Most recently he had a passion for visiting and ministering to inmates in the county jail. He was a member and worship leader at Life House church of Hope. When he wasn’t busy helping whomever needed it, he could usually be found at home working on a DIY project or enjoying music, a good book, or a TV show.

Bill is survived by his wife, Sarah; two sons, Matthew of Rogers, AR, and Aaron and his wife Misty of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Kole and River Davis; and one brother, Mike and his wife Sandra of Slidell, LA, and their children Ryan and Stephanie Davis.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope with Bro. Mike Fitch officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua.
