William L. Walker Jr.

William L. Walker Jr., also known as “Bugg,” was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Thursday, November 15, 1973, to William L. Walker Sr. and Juanita Faye Reed Walker. Bugg accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He graduated from Emmet Public School with the Class of 1992 in Emmet, AR.

Bugg was the “go-to man” for the Emmet community. He served as our carpenter, our lawn man, and even filled in as our barber. If he was asked to do something, he tried his best to fulfill the request. Bugg was never married, but he played a significant role as an uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was a friend to many, inheriting several brothers and sisters during his lifetime.

William Walker Jr. passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the age of 50 in Plano, Texas. He will remain in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by both of his fathers, William L. Walker Sr. and Perry Anthony Jr.

Bugg leaves behind cherished memories with his mother, Juanita Walker of Emmet, AR; three sisters, Yolanda Reed and Chandra Dixon, both of Emmet, AR, Patricia Isom (Matt) of Fulshear, TX; five brothers, Kevin Reed of Emmet, AR, Timothy (Marsha) Sanders of Nashville, AR, Thomas (Lisa) Muldrew and Patrick White, both of North Little Rock, AR, Steve (Virginia) Anthony of Milwaukee, WI; brother-in-law, Jerry Dixon of Texarkana, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
