One Arrested in Task Force Drug Raid

The Hope Police Department Special Response Team (SRT) and the 8th North Task Force arrested a Hope man Thursday afternoon after executing what Hope Police Assistant Chief Kim Tomlin called a high-risk warrant.

Tomlin said the SRT and Task Force members executed the warrant at a residence in the 1600 block of North Sherman St. in Hope at around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 25. At the residence, they arrested 29-year-old Justin D. Moore. Moore was charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug premises. He was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for his first appearance.
