Santa Takes Time for the Kids Following Christmas Parade

Santa was in high demand at the 2019 Hope Christmas Parade Monday night. Tailgaters set up a cozy area in their outdoor dining area for him to meet with area children and get their wish list first-hand. Tailgaters had cookies and refreshment for the kids and plenty of hot coffee for the parents.

Children and their parents lined up down the block on Main Street waiting for their turn for the kids to tell Santa what they want this Christmas and for the parents to capture the moment for posterity.

The Grinch made a surprise visit during Santa’s time with the kids but instead of trying to ruin everyone’s Christmas fun, the reformed Dr. Seuss character joined in and also posed for pictures.
