SEC Women/Men Postponed Due to Weather

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ SEC women’s basketball game tonight against Ole Miss at Walton Arena has been postponed and in fact all four SEC women’s games scheduled tonight have been postponed, the SEC Office announced Wednesday in Birmingham, Ala.

All are postponed because of the snowy, icy conditions dominating the South this week with hazardous travel conditions and power outages.

Make up dates have not yet been assigned for Arkansas vs. Ole Miss and the other games including Auburn at Mississippi State;

LSU at Kentucky; and Missouri at Texas A&M.

Also the SEC postponed men’s basketball games scheduled Thursday between Alabama at Texas A&M; LSU at Ole Miss; and Mississippi State at Auburn.

Arkansas’ men and Texas A&M are scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on the SEC Network at the Aggies’ Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.

Arkansas and Texas A&M still have a postponement to make up because too many positive covid-19 tests and contact tracing compelled the Aggies not traveling to Fayetteville for a scheduled Feb. 6 game at Walton Arena.
