Steven E. Alford

Steven Eugene Alford was born on Saturday, June 3, 1961 to Johnnie and Juanita Alford in Hope, Arkansas. At an early age, Steven accepted the Lord into his life. He played football from the seventh grade through the twelfth grade, and he was known for his defense. Steven graduated from Hope High School in 1979. Continuing his education, he went on to attend Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR.

For 18 years, Steven worked for KeHe Distributors in Atlanta, Georgia and Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was a world traveler who loved spending time with his family and friends. Steven also enjoyed sports and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He lived in Dallas, Texas until he returned to Hope, AR for health reasons where he lived with his sister Patricia.
Steven transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, TX. He will be sadly missed but forever in our hearts. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Johnnie and Juanita Alford; and his sister, Shelia Alford.

Steven leaves the following loved ones to mourn his passing: son, William King of Little Rock, AR; sisters, Patricia Nelson of Hope, AR and Teresa Fletcher of Dallas, TX; brothers, Rickey Alford of El Dorado, AR and Alex Davis of Dallas, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends who love Steven dearly.
