FCCLA arranged the first ever annual Miss Spring Hill pageant this year. The event was held Saturday evening, February 29th in the Spring Hill School Cafeteria. Doors opened at 4:30 pm and the pageant began promptly at 5:30 pm with a packed house.
Spring Hill’s official school colors were the decor for the evening. Blue and gold tulle embellished with sparkling lights lined the boarders of the stage.
Hempstead county queens were present to assist by announcing, crowning and helping back stage.
Categorizes were comprised of school wear, evening gown and interview. Photogenic, best dressed in school wear and best dressed in evening gown were also included. There was a panel of three judges who set directly in front of the stage to score the contenders in each division.
Contestants ranged in ages from Toddler Miss, Little Miss, Young Miss, Pre-Teen Miss, Teen Miss and Miss Spring Hill.
