The Southwest Arts Council is hosting its first annual Holiday Bazaar Thursday through Saturday, November 29-30 and December 1.
Featuring hand-crafted items and some antiques, the Bazaar will be held in conjunction with Hope’s “Hope for the Holidays” sales event.
The Bazaar will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and 10-2 Friday and Saturday.
Located in the Arts Station at 200 East Division Street, the Bazaar will showcase hand-crafted jewelry, wood items from bird houses to post office banks, rocks and bricks painted with a holiday motif, original paintings from various artists, antique bottles from the defunct Hope Bottling Company, one-of-kind Ukrainian- style painted egg ornaments, hand carved walking canes, holiday-themed painted pallets for outside decorating, distinctive multi-color hot pads made on a hand loom, plus many other holiday gifts and stocking stuffers.
