The Imagination Library of Nevada County Hosts Community Coffee

The Imagination LIbray of Nevada County hosted this week’s Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee, promoting their program, which provides books to children of Nevada County.

Coffee guests were invited to take a book home with them and also register their children for the program, all while enjoying an array of food, punch and coffee.

The Nevada County Imagination Library is an affiliate of the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Arkansas and ensures that a book is mailed to all children ages birth to 5 years once a month and at no cost to their parents. Books in the home encourages parents to read to their children and improves reading skills of all children starting at birth.
