Two arrests were made last week related to a residential burglary on Highway 67 East that occurred New Year’s Eve where a large number of power tools were stolen.
Sheriff James Singleton said Investigator Justin Crane identified two suspects in the burglary, which was reported to the Hemsptead County Sheriff’s Office around 1:10 p.m. on December 31. Jesse Lee Loe, 31, of Emmet, AR, and Frank Flores, 27, of Hope, AR, were arrested last week and charged with residential burglary and theft of property.
Among the items reported stolen from the residence was a Craftsman table saw, a 40” table router, a Milwaukee cordless drill, a Rigid cordless drill, an airless painter, a Hitachi air compressor, a nail gun, a Synco stapler, a Hitachi scale saw, a Craftsman router, a Hitachi compound miter saw, a Rigid reciprocating saw, a Hitachi circular saw and nail bags containing miscellaneous items. The owners reported that all of their tools were fairly new. Sheriff Singleton said several of the stolen items were recovered in a pawn shop in Texarkana.
Loe and Flores were transported to the Hempstead County Detention Center to await their first court appearance.
