UA Extension announces October programs

Armyworms on Oct. 8, Land conference on Oct. 15

The University of Arkansas Extension of Hempstead County announced two events happening on back-to-back Mondays in October.
A Fall Armyworm Management program will take place on Monday, October 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Southwest Research Extension Center at 362 Hwy. 174 in Hope.
Speakers will include Entomologists Dr. Gus Lorenz and Dr. Kelly Loftin, and Extension Application Technologist Jason Davis.
Lunch will be provided, and the program is open to the public. No Pre-registration required.
A Landowners Meeting and Farm Tourism Conference will take place on Monday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., also at the Southwest Research Extension Center at 362 Hwy. 174 in Hope.
This conference is presented jointly with the Cooperative Extension Programs of Prairie View A&M University and UA Pine Bluff.
