Woman arrested for alleged ‘terroristic threatening’ change

On Tuesday, January 01, 2019 at approximately 540 p.m., officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Elaine Arnold, 59, of Sparkman, Arkansas for Terroristic Threatening 1st degree. Arnold was taken into custody following an altercation with another person where Arnold allegedly threatened to shoot the person. The two were arguing over possession of a key. Arnold was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility where she was held for a first appearance.
