WWE Star Jerry “The King” Lawler Putting Career “On the Line” at CWA Wrestling Event in North Little Rock

(Little Rock, AR) — Championship Wrestling of Arkansas (CWA) has officially announced that WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has agreed to put his in-ring career on the line against the Arkansas Heavyweight champion, “The LVR Boy” Matt Riviera, Title vs. Career, at CWA’s “No Surrender” event at the Maumelle Event Center in North Little Rock, AR on Saturday, January, 18th, 2020.

“It has been a long, illustrious career.” said Jerry Lawler, who recently celebrated his 70th birthday. “But on January the 18th, it could be all coming to an end. That could be the last day of my… career.”

Legendary Memphis commentator, Dave Brown will be on hand to join the CWA Broadcast Team on commentary for the Jerry Lawler vs. Matt RivieraTitle vs. Career” match, as well as “Superstar” Bill Dundee, who has a famed 40+ year history with Jerry Lawler, as rivals & Tag Team partners. Brown and Dundee will also be taking part in a special VIP Meet & Great, prior to the “No Surrender” event.

Other matches scheduled for the “No Surrender” event include a 1st time match between international superstar, Davey Boy Smith, Jr. & former Worlds Heavyweight champion and Pine Bluff, Arkansas native, Tim Storm. In a Ladies Match, Kacee Carlisle will face “The Badstreet Beauty” Miranda Gordy, the daughter of WWE Hall of Fame member Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy.
