According to the Arkansas Department of Health, the cases were tested in Hempstead County and reported for that particular county at that time. After the outbreak team responded to the individuals tested, the map was then updated to show the actual county they reside in.

A representative from the Arkansas Department of Health stated that they update the map 4 times each day in order to keep it as accurate as possible.
