Bears Top Badgers on Monday Night
Arkadelphia- The Bears headed to Arkadelphia on Monday night for a non-conference game against the Badgers. With both the Bears and Badgers gearing up for their respective Regional Tournaments this weekend, this game was a nice tune-up game to see some live pitching and get their reps in.

Arkadelphia would score 2 runs in the bottom of the first inning and then there would be nothing but zeroes for both teams until Spring Hill broke through in the 6th inning for 3 runs to take the lead. The Bears would blow the game open in the 7th inning, as they would put up a 6-spot and take a 9-2 lead. The game would end 9-2 and Spring Hill will head into Thursday's game against Ouachita with a nice win under their belts this week. A lot of the Bears pitchers' got some work on Monday, as Reese Tarver started the game, followed by Corbin Overton, Zane Minton, Carson Moore, Mason Moore, and Karson Hamilton finished the game on the mound. The Bears pitching staff combined for 8 strikeouts and only allowed 4 hits.

The Spring Hill bats piled up 9 hits and they drew 5 walks at the plate. Karson Hamilton, Reese Tarver, and Carson Moore each had 2 hits. Hamilton led the team in RBIs with 3 and Carson Moore had 2 RBI. Reed Rothwell, Brady Rhodes, and Mason Moore each had a hit for Spring Hill.

The Bears will travel to Parkers Chapel for the Regional Tournament on Thursday for their first-round game with Ouachita. First Pitch is scheduled for 12:30. With a win, the Bears would clinch a spot in the State Tournament.
