FAYETTEVILLE -  Billy Luplow, a captain and offensive guard/defensive tackle on Frank Broyles’ 1959 Southwest Conference champion  Arkansas Razorbacks, has died, Harold Horton, the retired Razorbacks assistant coach and administrator and 1959 Razorback, confirmed.Originally from Parkin. Luplow lived in Little Rock and continually kept up with the Razorbacks, Horton,, the former Razorback Foundation president, said and was voted a 1959 senior captain after lettering with the 1958 Razorbacks in Broyles’ first Arkansas season.“Billy was a good guy that loved the University of Arkansas,” Horton said.  “He had the respect of his teammates because they voted him captain.”
