Sal Sanchez, Josh Ramos, Yahir Mercad, and Anthony Dominguez all played great around the mid-field, controlling the tempo of the game, and not allowing Malvern's counter attack to gain much traction. Brian Jimenez, Nathan Sanchez, Dylan Mercado, Alex Hernandez, and Carlos Zapata each played well up top and at the wing, as they played a solid game, but could not get a ball to find the back of the net.
The tie from Hope tonight was huge, as Nashville dropped their matchup to Morrilton on Monday night 6-2. Therefore, the Bobcats still control their own destiny for the 2-seed heading into next weeks State Tournament.
