FAYETTEVILLE - George Caratan, a punter at the University of Michigan, posted on Twitter Sunday that he has committed to transfer to the University of Arkansas.

Caraton will walk on with the Razorbacks after being on the Michigan roster the past two seasons, but not punting in a game for the Wolverines.

At St. Thomas More High School in Connecticut, Caraton averaged 46 yards per punt and kicked 4 of 5 field goals.

New Coach Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks return punters Sam Loy and Reid Bauer from the 2019 team coached by former Arkansas Coach Chad Morris.
