Chamber of Commerce Week happens October 17-21

The Hope-Hempstead Chamber of Commerce will join other chambers across the state of Arkansas to celebrate Chamber of Commerce Week.  The week of October 17th through 21st has been proclaimed as Chamber of Commerce Week in Arkansas by Governor Asa Hutchinson. Local chambers are planning various activities throughout the week.

Mayor Don Still will join the Chamber staff, Board, and Ambassadors at the Chamber Office on Monday, October 17 at 10:00 am for the reading of the proclamation for state chamber of commerce week, this will be shared live on the Chamber’s Facebook page.  This “Let’s Go Live” will kick off the Chamber’s festivities for the week.

Christy Burns, Chamber Executive Director stated, “We have a full week planned including the Chamber Week Proclamation, special Facebook posts, a community coffee hosted by the Ambassadors and a ribbon cutting. We certainly appreciate our community supporting the local chamber, our Chamber members are the reason we celebrate.” 

The Chamber Ambassadors will host a Halloween themed Community Coffee on Wednesday, October 19th from 9:30am-11:00am at the Chamber office.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.  

To conclude the in-person activities for the week, please make plans to join the Chamber for a Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, October 2 at 10:30am.  We will celebrate the opening of Complete Nutrition located at 100 E 16th Street.
