When the hour strikes seven, members of dozens of Hope civic, school and other groups will be meeting at The Hub to start the springtime city wide cleanup day.
"We have three cleanups a year. But I really think spring cleaning is a good time for everybody," City Director Mark Ross said.
With Hope trying to recruit businesses, industries and tourism to the region, a clean city contributes to that effort, Ross said. "We're trying to get tourism and industry located in Hope. And we have visitors. We want our city to look good."
