HOPE – Hope High School 9-11 grade students who wish to enroll in concurrent college credit classes or the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Secondary Career and Technical Education Center should contact the HHS Counselor’s Office for enrollment appointments.

HHS Counselor Varonica Kennedy and Career Coach Kayla Jones will schedule appointments on June 29 and 30 to discuss concurrent credit and secondary career center enrollment.

“Each appointment will last approximately 45 minutes,” Kennedy said. “Each student will need to have a mask and be required to wear a mask in order to enter the building; and, a temperature check will be done as well.”

Students should enter the HHS main building from the 18th Street side at the campus main office door.

“This is not a social visit; this is to discuss college classes only,” Kennedy emphasized.

Appointments will be scheduled from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on June 29 and 30.

June 29 appointments should be scheduled with Jones by emailing [email protected] online.

June 30 appointments should be scheduled with Kennedy by emailing [email protected] online.

The UAHT Secondary Career and Technical Education Center has extended its application deadline to July 1 for rising 11th and 12th grade students. Application may be made at www.uaht.edu/secondary-career-center online.
