After the blessing, Curry also talked of his appreciation, "We want thank the community for our very best year of service. We have been serving the community for a long time. I get excited about the challenges we have in our community, bringing people together to support this age in the community. What we do is fun, but we couldn't do it without our staff, so I want to extend a thank you to them. We have many people working with us, a collection of people, different denominations, different backgrounds. It doesn't matter where we come from. it's all about the heart of service, people who serve and have the same goal in mind, making Prescott better," Curry said.
Curry’s Community Outreach is operated by Ivory Curry and a team of dedicated volunteers. The outreach opened its doors in its current location at 606 Greenlawn in January of 2020 and has been providing a community feed to the Prescott citizens on the fourth Saturday of each month since.
Curry’s Community Outreach also provides a venue for speakers to come and talk with young people about bullying, mental health, drug abuse and many other issues. Along with helping our youth, this outreach hosts an annual toy drive for the Christmas holiday, an annual appreciation banquet, and is involved in many community outreach activities throughout the year.
