In case you missed it – This afternoon, Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) called for unanimous consent to pass his bill to order the Biden administration to begin issuing new oil and gas leases for federal lands, but Senator Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts) objected to the motion.

“The choice between American energy and Russian energy shouldn’t be difficult, but once again Democrats have chosen to prioritize far-left policies. This bill would have ended our funding of Russia’s war machine, created jobs, and lowered the cost of gas,” said Cotton.
